Who Are We & What Is Our Vision?
Asym Capital was founded in 2014, originally as a capital allocation firm with a focus on identifying operators in various niches, and placing equity with them.
Since inception, we have participated in the acquisition of multifamily, mobile home parks, self-storage, debt, and several non-real estate assets.
After completing 7 transactions across 9 assets in the Phoenix Valley multifamily sector, totaling $377 million of acquired value, through LP, JV, and/or Co-GP structures, we elected to “double down” on the Phoenix market and are forgoing any opportunities outside Phoenix and its respective submarkets.
While this has reduced the firms’ deal flow in the near term, we believe that over a longer time horizon, our investors will benefit greatly from our niched down, focused approach.
Hunter & Tyler host the Cash Flow Connections Real Estate Podcast, which helps savvy investors navigate the waters of commercial real estate, through the lens of economics. Hunter’s portions of the show focus more on the capital raising part of the business, while Tyler’s episodes cen ter on other relevant topics savvy real estate investors should be focusing on as the market changes. The show has received over 1.5 million downloads, and is considered a staple for many real estate entrepreneurs of all levels of sophistication.
